**A Family Legacy of Community and Care**
As Homer Skelton’s grandson, I’m honored to carry forward the legacy of our family-owned business, Homer Skelton Hyundai. Choosing to shop with us isn’t just about driving away in a quality car—it’s about supporting a tradition of trust, integrity, and deep community roots in Olive Branch.
What makes a family-owned business special? At Homer Skelton Hyundai, we’re guided by my grandfather’s belief: take care of people first, and that will take care of everything else. We’re not a corporation chasing numbers; we’re your neighbors, committed to honest service, fair deals, and relationships that last. Homer loved what he did, and his passion for serving customers and community continues to drive us today.
That passion shines through in our commitment to giving back. Homer Skelton was a quiet philanthropist whose generosity transformed lives. Through the Homer Skelton Charitable Foundation, he supported schools, churches, and those in need across Memphis and DeSoto County. He provided coats, shoes, and bicycles to children for over 20 years, equipped the Automotive Center at DeSoto County Schools Career Tech Center, and helped build the “Field of Dreams” baseball field for handicapped kids at Snowden Grove in Southaven. He funded scholarships, computers, and summer camps, always insisting, “Spend this on the children who need it most.”
His heart for single mothers and those facing hunger led him to support organizations like the Olive Branch Food Pantry, Memphis Boys and Girls Club, Pregnancy Care Center in Southaven, and Agape Child Ministry.
When you choose Homer Skelton Hyundai, you’re directly supporting the Homer Skelton Charitable Foundation, which continues today, carrying on his mission to uplift our community.
We’re more than a dealership—we’re a family keeping Homer’s vision alive. Visit Homer Skelton Hyundai, say hi, and join us in strengthening our community, one car and one act of kindness at a time.
