How may I best serve you?

Brennon Chapman is the General Manager of Homer Skelton Hyundai and a former Assistant Director of Player Personnel at Ole Miss. His career spans two high-pressure industries—college football and automotive retail—where trust, clarity, and leadership matter most.

At Ole Miss, Brennon worked under Hugh Freeze and Matt Luke. Freeze taught him how to compete and build relationships. Luke showed him how to lead through adversity. After the 2019 Egg Bowl, when a penalty contributed to a loss and staff firings, Brennon didn’t assign blame. He called Elijah Moore and told him, “It’s not your fault. There was a lot that went into it. You doing that didn’t get everybody fired.” That quote, later shared in The New York Times, reflects who he is: steady, loyal, and principle-driven.

After football, he returned to lead the dealership his grandfather, Homer Dee Skelton, built on fairness, humility, and service. Brennon now carries that legacy forward. He introduced no-haggle pricing and Express Buying—Fast. Simple. Friendly. Fair.He restructured internal processes, raised expectations, and built a culture where people feel valued and accountable. His leadership reflects lessons learned from his father (discipline), mother (emotional intelligence), and grandfather (quiet integrity).
At home, he is a husband to Celeste and father to Kinleigh and Collins. He leads his family the same way he leads his store: by showing up, protecting what matters, and living his values. Whether managing a team or raising a family, Brennon leads with one mindset: do it right, stand for your people, and never sacrifice your values.
